Creating Sign-Up Forms

Sign-up links let you create embeddable signup forms for your website. Visitors can subscribe to your contact lists without you manually adding them.

Creating a signup link

Click Add Signup Link to open the form builder. You can customize:

Text content

Set a custom headline, message, and button text, or leave them blank to use defaults. Each field has a toggle switch to enable custom text.

  • Headline — Main heading visitors see (e.g., "Subscribe to our newsletter")
  • Message — Supporting text below the headline
  • Button text — What appears on the submit button (e.g., "Subscribe now")

Button style

Choose between:

  • Standard button — A rectangular button embedded inline with your content
  • Floating button — A round button that sticks to a corner as visitors scroll

The preview shows how each style looks.

List assignment

Choose which contact list(s) new signups join:

  • Self signups — Creates a default list for contacts who subscribe this way
  • Existing lists — Pick from your current lists
  • Multiple lists — Enable the toggle to assign signups to more than one list at once

Floating button options

If you chose the floating button style, you can configure:

  • Position — Top-left, top-right, bottom-left, or bottom-right corner
  • X offset — Distance from the left or right edge in pixels
  • Y offset — Distance from the top or bottom edge in pixels

Using the embed code

After saving, the modal switches to show your embed code — a single line of JavaScript. Copy it and paste it into your website's HTML, ideally just before the closing </body> tag.

The signup button will appear automatically on any page that includes the code.

Tip: You can use the same embed code on multiple pages. The button will appear on all of them.

QR codes

Each signup link has a QR code button. Click it to generate a scannable code that opens the hosted signup page.

Useful for:

  • Print materials (flyers, posters, brochures)
  • Event signage
  • Presentations
  • Anywhere you want people to subscribe without typing a URL

The QR code modal lets you download the image for use in your materials.

Managing signup links

The main table shows all your signup links with:

  • Headline text — The custom headline or default text
  • Lists — Which list(s) new signups join
  • Created date — When you created the link
  • Action buttons — QR code, edit, and delete

Editing or deleting links

Click the three-dot menu on any row to:

  • Edit — Change the text, button style, or list assignment. The embed code stays the same.
  • Delete — Permanently remove the link. The embed code will stop working — the signup button will no longer display on pages that include it.

Warning: Deleting a signup link cannot be undone. Any pages using that embed code will no longer show the signup button.
