Usage & Limits

The Usage Stats page gives you a complete picture of your email sending activity — how much of your monthly allowance you've used, what's left, and how your volume has trended over time.

The four stat cards

At the top of the page, four cards summarize your current billing cycle at a glance:

  • Sends — Total emails delivered so far this cycle, across all tools.
  • Remaining — How many sends you have left. Turns red when you're below 10% of your limit.
  • Billing Cycle — The start and end dates of your current cycle. Dates are based on your subscription anniversary, not the calendar month.
  • Days Left — Days remaining before your cycle resets. Turns amber when fewer than 5 days remain.
Your billing cycle starts on the same day of the month you originally subscribed. A subscription started on the 25th resets on the 25th of each month.

Monthly limit progress bar

The progress bar shows how much of your monthly limit you've consumed. The color indicates your status:

  • Green — Under 70% used. You're in good shape.
  • Amber — Between 70% and 90% used. Consider pacing your remaining sends.
  • Red — Over 90% used. An upgrade link appears to increase your limit.

An upgrade prompt appears automatically when you reach 80% of your limit.

Breakdown by Tool

The breakdown panel shows how your sends are split between GroupPost and RSVP. Each tool shows its total sends for the current cycle with a proportional bar. Click any tool row to jump to its detailed cycle view.

If a tool doesn't appear in the breakdown, it hasn't sent any emails this cycle yet.

6-Month Send History chart

The chart shows your monthly send volume for the past 12 months. Hover over any point or move your cursor across the chart to see the exact count for that month. Vertical grid lines help align each month clearly. Use this to spot seasonal patterns, plan upcoming sends, and decide whether your current plan size fits your typical volume.

Usage History

Click View Previous Usage at the bottom of the breakdown panel to open the full usage history page — all months on record, not just the current cycle.

What counts as a send?

Every email successfully delivered to a recipient counts as one send — GroupPost messages, RSVP invitations, and automated reminders all count. Sends are recorded when the email is delivered by our sending system, not when it is opened or clicked. Bounced emails do not count toward your limit.

Plan limits by tier

  • Free — 100 sends per month
  • Starter — 1,000 sends per month
  • Pro — 5,000 sends per month
  • Team — 30,000 sends per month

What happens when I hit my limit?

A hard limit alert appears at the top of the page. New sends are blocked until your cycle resets or you upgrade. You can upgrade at any time from the pricing page — your new limit takes effect immediately.

Grace zone

If your send would put you up to 50 over your limit, the system allows it with a soft warning rather than blocking it outright. Beyond 50 over the limit, sends are hard-blocked until you upgrade or your cycle resets.
