Managing Form Responses
Viewing Form Responses
Every form submission is automatically saved and can be viewed in the Responses tab.
Accessing Responses
- Go to Form Builder from your dashboard
- Find your form in the list
- Click View Responses or the responses count
You'll see a summary of all submissions, including:
- Total Responses — How many people have submitted the form
- Last Response — When the most recent submission was received
- Response List — Table of all submissions
Response List View
The main responses page shows a table with one row per submission.
Columns Shown:
- Submission Date/Time — When the form was submitted
- Preview — First few fields from the response
- Actions — View full details, delete, etc.
Viewing Response Details
Click any response row to open a detailed view showing all submitted data:
- Click a response in the list
- A side panel slides in from the right
- Scroll through all field values
- Click outside the panel or press X to close
The detail view shows:
- Submission timestamp
- Every field label and value
- Empty fields are shown as "(No response)"
Response Pagination
If you have many responses, they're split into pages:
- Default: 25 responses per page
- Use pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages
- Page numbers show which set you're viewing
No Responses Yet
If your form hasn't received any submissions yet, you'll see an empty state with options to:
- View Public Form — Open your form in a new tab to test it
- Edit Form — Go back to the builder to make changes
Response Data Format
Standard Fields
Regular fields (text, email, number, etc.) show the exact value entered by the user.
Choice Fields
- Radio buttons: Show the single selected option
- Checkboxes: Show all selected options as a comma-separated list
- Dropdown: Show the selected option
Date & Time Fields
Dates and times are formatted consistently for easy reading.
Preset Fields
Each sub-field of a preset appears separately:
- Address: Street, City, State, Postal Code in separate rows
- Name: First Name, Last Name in separate rows
- Dietary: Each dietary restriction and allergy as separate items
Deleting Responses
You can delete individual responses:
- Open the response detail panel
- Click the Delete button
- Confirm deletion
Response Statistics
At the top of the Responses page, you'll see:
- Total Responses — Running count of all submissions
- Last Response — How recently the form was last submitted
This gives you a quick overview of form activity without scrolling through all responses.
Best Practices
- Check responses regularly — Don't wait until after an event to review RSVPs
- Test first — Submit a test response to verify everything works before going live
- Review field order — Make sure the most important information is visible in the response preview
- Clean up test data — Delete test submissions before sharing your form publicly
Common Questions
Can I export responses to Excel or CSV?
Export functionality is coming soon. For now, you can view and copy response data from the detail panel.
Can respondents edit their submissions after submitting?
No. Once a form is submitted, it cannot be edited. If someone needs to make changes, they can submit a new response and you can delete the old one.
Are responses stored securely?
Yes. All form submissions are stored in a secure database and are only accessible to users with access to your account.
Is there a limit on how many responses I can collect?
No. You can collect unlimited responses on any form.
Can I get notified when someone submits a form?
Email notifications for new submissions are coming soon.
