Understanding the Message Summary
The Message Summary page gives you a complete picture of how your GroupPost performed after sending — opens, delivery stats, engagement over time, and the full recipient list.
Stat tiles
The three cards at the top update automatically while your message is fresh:
- Sent — Total recipients the message was delivered to.
- Opened — How many recipients opened the message, with the open rate shown below.
- Bounced — Emails that could not be delivered, with the bounce rate shown below.
Opens over time chart
The area chart shows when recipients opened your message, broken down by hour. The window starts one hour before the first send and ends dynamically — once 90% of all opens have been captured, the chart adds a short tail and stops, so you always see a clean engagement curve rather than days of flat zeroes.
The insight line below the chart tells you how quickly your audience engaged — for example, "90% of opens happened within the first 6 hours of sending."
Open rate by domain
The table on the right breaks down your open rate by email provider — gmail.com, yahoo.com, and so on. This helps you spot deliverability issues with a specific provider. A significantly lower open rate on one domain may indicate your messages are landing in spam there.
Recipient list
The full list of recipients appears below the chart. Each row shows:
- The recipient's name and email address
- When their copy was sent
- Their current status — Opened, Delivered, Bounced, Pending, or Unsubscribed
Use the filter dropdown on the right to narrow the list to a specific status group. Use the gear icon to change how many recipients appear per page.
Manual refresh
The refresh icon in the top-right corner triggers an immediate update of all stats, the chart, and recipient badges. It is available for 48 hours after the message was sent.
Scheduled messages
If your message was scheduled for a future time, the summary page shows the scheduled date and recipient count while it is waiting to send. The stat tiles and chart appear once the send has started.
Why did my scheduled message not go out?
If a scheduled message did not send at the expected time, the most common reasons are:
- Your monthly sending quota was reached before the batch could run
- The send batch encountered an error — contact support with your message ID and we can investigate
