Reusing an Election
Most associations run a similar election each year. Clone copies an existing election's positions, candidates, quorum settings, and ballot options into a new draft.
Dates are not copied, and the name is prefixed with "[Clone]". The election cannot launch until you rename it — a safeguard against running this year's vote under last year's title.
After a failed quorum
If an election closes without reaching quorum, the results page offers to start a follow-up election. This creates a fresh election rather than reopening the old one, so the failed vote remains an accurate record of what happened.
Check your governing documents before running one — many associations allow a second vote at a reduced quorum, but the rules vary.
