Announcing Results to Members
Every unit that received a ballot can be emailed the outcome — quorum status and the vote count for each position.
Whether this happens automatically or waits for you is set in Election Basics, before the election launches, so the decision is not shaped by the result.
What members receive
The announcement states whether quorum was met and gives the counts. Units that did not vote are told so, with a note that every unit counts toward quorum — a gentle nudge for next time rather than a reprimand.
If quorum was not met, the announcement says the vote did not produce a valid result and that the board will advise on next steps.
Sent once
The announcement is a one-time message. It cannot be edited, recalled, or sent again, so it is worth checking the results page before sending.
For a large association the emails go out over several minutes rather than all at once. The page shows progress while that happens.
