Understanding the Event Summary
The Event Summary page is your command center after sending invitations. Here's what every element does.
Event header
At the top you'll see your event title, type, date, and location. The action buttons in the top-right give you quick access to:
- Pencil — Edit the event (disabled after sending)
- Check-in — Open the guest check-in page (visible when check-in is enabled)
- Seating — Manage your seating chart
- Bar chart — Open detailed statistics
- Share — Share a read-only stats view
- Download — Export your guest list as CSV or PDF
Response cards
The cards below the header show a live snapshot of your invitations:
- All — Total invitations sent
- Yes — Guests who accepted, including their plus-ones
- Maybe — Guests who are undecided
- No — Guests who declined
- Pending — Guests who haven't responded yet
- Bounced — Invitations that couldn't be delivered
Progress bar
The colored bar shows the response breakdown at a glance — green for Yes, yellow for Maybe, red for No, grey for Pending. If check-in is enabled, a second thinner bar shows how many confirmed guests have checked in.
Invitee list
Every person you invited appears here with their response status, name, and email. Click any row to open a detailed view including their note, plus-one names, and dietary preferences if collected.
Communications panel
On the right side you'll find two tabs:
- Reminders — Schedule reminders: Nudge non-responders sends a follow-up to guests who haven't replied; Remind confirmed guests sends a heads-up to those who said Yes or Maybe. Reminders are also scheduled automatically when invitations are sent.
- Messages — Send a direct message to all guests or a specific group.
Activity log
Below communications, the activity log shows a history of actions on this event — reminders sent, messages delivered, and edits made.
Promoted via GroupPost
If this event was advertised through a GroupPost mailing, a card at the bottom of the right column lists each message it appeared in. Use the menu on each row to preview the original message or jump to its send summary.
