HOA Results

Reading the Results

The results page has three parts: participation, the vote counts, and the option to announce the outcome to members.

Participation

Shows how many units voted against how many were needed for quorum. This is the first thing to check, because it determines whether the vote counts at all.

Vote counts

Each position lists its candidates with the votes each received. When quorum was met, the leading candidate for each position is marked with a trophy. Ties are shown as ties rather than resolved arbitrarily — your governing documents should say how to break them.

While voting is still open

Only participation is shown until voting closes. Vote counts stay hidden deliberately: publishing a running tally can influence how people still to vote decide, and a board with early access to results is in an awkward position.
