Understanding the Open Event Summary

Open events use a public registration link instead of personal invitations — anyone with the link can RSVP. The summary page reflects this self-service model.

Event header

At the top you'll see your event title, type, date, and location. The action buttons in the top-right give you quick access to:

  • Bar chart — Open detailed statistics
  • Share — Share a read-only stats view
  • Download — Export your respondent list as CSV or PDF

Your event is live

The blue banner at the top shows your public RSVP link. Share this URL anywhere — email, social media, your website — so people can register. Use the Copy button to grab it instantly.

Response cards

The cards show a live count of everyone who has responded via the public link:

  • All — Total responses received
  • Yes — People who accepted, including their plus-ones
  • Maybe — People who are undecided
  • No — People who declined
Click any card to filter the respondent list to just that group.

Progress bar

The colored bar shows the response breakdown at a glance — green for Yes, yellow for Maybe, red for No.

Respondent list

Everyone who has responded via the public link appears here with their status, name, and email. Click any row to see their full response including notes, plus-one names, and dietary preferences if collected.

Use the gear icon to change how many respondents appear per page. Use the search and sort icons to find or reorder entries.

Communications panel

On the right side you'll find two tabs:

  • Reminders — Send reminders to confirmed guests as the event approaches.
  • Messages — Send a direct message to all respondents or a specific group.

Activity log

Below communications, the activity log shows a history of actions on this event — reminders sent, messages delivered, and edits made.

Promoted via GroupPost

If you advertised this event through a GroupPost mailing, a card at the bottom of the right column shows each message it appeared in, how many recipients it reached, and how many of them RSVPd via the link. Use the menu on each row to preview the message or jump to its send summary.
